Sidai-Fm is a Maasai community-based radio station based in Narok County. It has regional transmission sites in Narok, Samburu, and Kilgoris, broadcasting in Maasai “MAA” dialect.
Narok’s Sidai–FM is home to Africa’s most iconic wildlife including lions; elephants; leopards; zebra, giraffes. Chyulu Hills, Hemingway’s, “Green Hills of Africa,” in-between Tsavo and Amboseli National Parks and one of the seven wonders of the world, the wildebeest migration.
Broadcasting since 2013, the station’s owner, Senator Olekina Ledama chose Lawo R3lay to refurbish their new facility.
The impact and joy that this new technology and workflow brought into this community were immeasurable.
