WAJIR COMMUNITY RADIO-THE TIRELESS CAMEL
Wajir community Radio(WCR) , broadcasting on 90.9Fm across Wajir county on a radius of 240KM is a participatory tool to engage the marginalized and the vulnerable members of the pastoralist community who are economically and socially excluded through building capacities and empowering these communities especially women and by invigorating local traditions, language and cultures.
Byce broadcast was Contracted by the project Financier( Mercy Corps) to design a simple, modern and future-proof layout for (WCR) whereby the Lawo’s 8fader Crystal console played a central role with its flexibility and scalable workflow.The Vistool software is used for extended visualization. For transmission RVR transmitter and antenna system were deployed.
